Yo, I'm Luca!
In kindergarten I declared that I wanted to be an art teacher, a computer teacher, and a ballerina. Though my dance career has not taken off (yet), art and technology have interwoven themselves in my career in many permutations.
For the past five years I have worked as a UI/UX designer on enterprise applications. Before that, I did front end development. Before THAT, I painted and earned as many art degrees as one person can.
What ties these experiences together is my passion for solving problems in a meaningful way, a deep desire to understand the why behind the how, and approaching situations with empathy.
In my personal art practice I’m drawn to working with unconventional materials and technologies. At times I also crochet, sing, and improvise. If I find some free time maybe I'll pick up ballet again ;)
